Elephants are the largest living land mammals and have become a revered symbol in cultures around the world.

According to the Chinese concept of feng shui, elephants represent wisdom, protection, strength, and good luck!

By bringing elephant figures into your home, you can invite in their positive energies. Additionally, elephants are known as protectors so your home’s front entryway is a great place for statues of them.

‘In many cultures, elephants represent strength, power, wisdom, longevity, stamina, leadership, sociability, nurturance and loyalty.’

‘In Asia, the animals are depicted as motifs in Hindu and Buddhist shrines and temples.’

‘One of the most important Hindu deities, the elephant-headed Ganesha, (the god of luck, fortune and protection) is ranked equal with the supreme gods Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma.’

‘In Buddhism, Buddha is said to have been a white elephant reincarnated as a human.’
‘In Islamic tradition, the year 570 when Muhammad was born is known as the Year of the Elephant.
Elephants were thought to be religious themselves by the Romans, who believed that they worshipped the sun and stars.’

Really pleased with this brass stag figurine, it is a Christmas gift for my father and I’m sure he will love it. It is high quality, exactly as described and was well packaged and arrived on time.

The colour and grain are beautiful are the craftsmanship is excellent (I've had a go at wood turning and it is not as easy as it looks). Thanks for a wonderful gift for a niece.
