Manchester United home kits from 1983 to 1996. Some great iconic strips starting with the shirt worn in the 1985 FA Cup Final followed by the first kit worn in the Alex Ferguson reign. The next was the kit that United won the FA Cup in, the first trophy Alex Ferguson won at United. The red socks on that player was a mistake made by the Subbuteo manufacturers. After that we find the strip worn in the ‘Battle of Old Trafford’ when United were we’re deducted a point and Arsenal two points after the players were involved in a huge brawl. The next strip saw United move from Adidas to Umbro. The start of the Premier League era and United’s domination began. 2 league titles and and FA Cup were won in this kit, the double in 1994 was secured when United thumped Chelsea 4-0 in the Cup final and the last one saw United complete it’s second league and cup double after beating Liverpool 1-0 in the 1996 FA Cup final.
