This is an INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF PATTERN for a beautiful crocheted Blanket/Afghan/Throw which measures 54ins square.

The colourful design has been inspired by the folk art decoration on English narrow boats and canal barges. Since the Victorian era these boats were intricately painted in bright colours on a black background using floral themes and stripes.

The background in parts of this blanket is Midnight Blue, rather than Black, but there is also an option for a version with a Cream background if preferred.

A full yarn List is included, using the popular Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

It can be tackled by any ability due to the basic crochet stitches used throughout and also the detailed step by step instructions, accompanied by lots of photos and diagrams.

The pattern is available in ENGLISH only, using UK crochet terms, but there is a US converter included.

There are 16 pages of instructions, photos and hints and tips.

Another wonderful pattern from Marion. The Narrowboat Blanket is simply stunning, the colour combinations are beautiful and striking. A little more tricky than the Beach Walk Blanket I recently made but the pattern talks you through every step. About halfway through and enjoying the challenge as a self taught crochet beginner.

Another lovely pattern from this seller. Am currently crocheting the Vintage Florals Blanket by the same seller and it is gorgeous colours and a fantastic project for the winter months! This pattern also looks lovely with clear instructions.
