This mask is identical to our popular plague doctor mask Krankheit, but with an extended beak. It measures about 2½" longer (6.3 cm). The leather mask is mostly riveted together with some hand-stitching. The eyepieces are sewn in with waxed thread.

The mask is made of medium weight veg tan leather and has an adjustable strap. It comes with a series of 23 ventilation holes on the bottom and along the top of the beak for ease of breathing. Mask may vary slightly from photos. Paint is designed to wear off of rivets for that aged look. Hat is not included.

White masks have red acrylic lenses, all other color masks have grey acrylic lenses.

Standard Size: up to 24 inch head measurement (measure your head like you would for a hat)
XL Size: 24 inch and larger head measurement (measure your head like you would for a hat)

Personalized message, words, or name, engraved on the strap for a $50 charge: See photo of engravable area. More letters will mean a smaller font, so keep your message relatively short.

CARING FOR YOUR MASK
The leather masks are quite durable. When storing them, keep them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. The worst enemy is water, as the masks will soften and distort when wet, so don't wear them in the rain, in the pool, or in the shower. Heat will dry them out and make the leather crack. No regular maintenance is required. If they become soiled, wipe with a soft cloth.

It feels very comfortable, fits well, and is easy to see out of. It looks excellent, and I love the leather smell. Breathing also isn’t impaired, which is relieving seeing as it is a thick, leather mask. Seller also got back in a timely manner when I had questions. I’d heard many good things about this shop from several different sources, and I very plainly can see why. Overall, I am very pleased with this mask, and would be more than happy to purchase from this shop again.

The masks are well made with quality materials. I ordered two of the Plague Doctor leather masks, but received only one of them and the box for packing was not sturdy enough and was not taped well. That being said, the mask was fine even though the box was bashed in on one side and the top almost open. I sent a message about not receiving the other mask and was relieved that they believed I had only received one mask and they would send another asap. They did and the packaging was much, much better. The second mask was also well made. It was somewhat of an ordeal, but the customer service was excellent.
