This is a KNITTING PATTERN, not the finished item.

A simple seamless raglan baby cardigan with striped garter stitch edges and optional pockets.

This cardigan pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner to an intermediate knitter who has a little experience of knitting seamless garments.

The cardigan is knitted from the top down with the button bands knitted at the same time, so no picking up stitches. The sleeves are knitted seamlessly after the body is completed.
Pockets are knitted separately and sewn on at the end.

Sized to fit approx. 0-6 (6-12, 12-18) months. Finished Chest Sizes, 46 (51, 56) cm / 18 (20, 22) inches.

Yarn used is a DK weight baby yarn. You will need approx. 2 (3, 4) balls of a standard DK weight yarn.
Needles: 3.5mm / US4, & 3.75mm / US5 needles, or size to obtain the correct tension, in circular and dpns (or your preferred needles for knitting small circumferences in the round)
You will also need: 4 stitch markers, yarn needle and 6 buttons.

Postage is to the UK only and is free for 2nd class large letter post. An optional 1st class upgrade is available.

The pattern will be printed onto FSC 200gsm A3 Card and folded into a full-size A4 folded leaflet. Your pattern will be posted in a hard-backed envelope to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition.
To save on plastic waste, I do not put patterns into a plastic sleeve.
