Hand of the Old Man
Minted near Isengard by Dunlending, followers of Saruman from Dunland. On the obverse is the tower of Isengard and a bird: a crow-like Crebain. Around the tower are the words “Yzan Gaarda”, referring to Isengard. Around the hand of Saruman, are the words “Hand of the Old Man” in the language of Dunlandish, transcribed in the writing script of Angerthas.
