These retired Loch Lomond solid oak 40 gallon Scottish whisky barrels, have been in the whisky
distillery industry for decades. And are extremely robust and ooze character
and charm.

Lovingly stripped and sanded whilst retaining the original patina, each stave
has been centered with four 40mm holes spaced evenly apart, with metal hoops accents fastened to each end using high quality domed screws, so in keeping with the overall barrel theme. The candle holders
are then waxed - polished and coated with a semi gloss satin waterproof
treatment to protect the wood and metal, that creates a very imposing look indeed.

Would grace any surrounding from a country house to a contemporary
setting. Would certainly make an impressive gift, and a obvious talking point.
