I use 390 Micron Flame retardant PVC to line the shades, the PVC is anti-static treated to minimize the attraction of dust and is UV stabilized.

Fire Rating: Low Flammability, Self Extinguishing, Passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.

Fits all standard UK and European light fittings. Comes complete with UK 25mm ring adapter, will fit up to a 40mm European light fitting with adapter removed. Shade can be used as a pendant on a ceiling light or used on a table or floor lamp, the shade is universal. The shade fitting is recessed at 1.5 inches from the bottom of the shade.

I can also make these with the US Washer fitting (1/2" ring). This is the most common lamp fitting in the US, this fitting will fit lamps that use a harp to hold the shade, the decorative finial can then be screwed on top. Please contact me if you would like a shade made with the US fitting.
