These rustic table tops are handmade in our Peak District workshop from solid reclaimed wood, which we ethically source from our local area.

MANUFACTURE:
These table tops are made from chunky 35mm thick, solid, reclaimed pine planks; which we join with biscuits, glue and sand for a new lease of life. We also attach battens underneath the table tops to give them extra strength, ensuring they maintain their shape over time.
(we can move the battens around, if you feel the base might get in the way)

TREATMENT:
We treat these table tops in a variety of high quality waxes and oils, which help the grain to stand out, creating beautiful pieces of bespoke furniture.

If you plan to use the table tops outside, we recommend that you select an oil finish, because they protect it better than the wax finish. As these beautiful table tops are made from reclaimed timber, the grain, colourings in the timber and knots can cause the colour to slightly darken in areas, Also will contain marks in the timber which adds character to them, making sure each one is completely unique. Reclaimed timber will contain dents and gaps which we fill with a 2 part wood filler and sand

LOOKING AFTER:
To clean Only wipe these tops down with a damp cloth do not spray any chemicals as it will discolour and with it being a natural product we advise not putting directly next to a heat source for example radiators as it may warp the timber

Always use cup and place mats as it will leave ring marks on your new top

Reclaimed wood has its own unique features and may contain some previous colouring and markings in the timber which can make the colours darker in places and contain knots and twists, cuppage in the timber, small dents but doesn't effect the structure and also means no table top will be the same, allowing you to have that something special, brightening up your home. We also router a nice round edge on the top and bottom so there are no sharp edges, Please note this is reclaimed timber and is not intended to be 100% flat or smooth

Wonderful table top, beautifully made & high quality. I like how it’s naturally rustic. Was not difficult to attach some metal legs & it looks great. 10/10!! 🥰 It took a little while to come, but it is hand made & well worth the wait. Very much worth the money, too 😊
