Risograph print of a big purple silverback gorilla! This is a risograph print of my original watercolour drawing. The risograph has translated my watercolour washes into beautiful tactile, slightly grainy textures.

The Risograph (or 'Riso') is a digital stencil duplicator, invented in Japan in 1986. It’s a speedy and low-cost alternative to screen printing. Risograph is an extremely eco-friendly print process - it doesn't require heat to produce prints and the machines use very little electricity. The inks are rice/soy oil-based, so they are extremely eco-friendly and non-toxic. 

∙ Printed on 170gsm 100% recycled paper, made with 50% disposable paper coffee cup waste! It is off-white with a very slight texture.

∙ Size is A3 (297 (H) x 420 (W) mm (10.9"x16.5").
∙ Image size is 265 (H) x 280 (W) mm (10.4"x3.15")
∙ Frame not included :)

∙ Comes signed on the front.

∙ Due to the nature of the reproduction process, colours may vary slightly.

∙ The print will be carefully packaged in a sealed clear compostable protective sleeve and sent in a cardboard (triangular) tube with Royal Mail 2nd Class (upgrade to Signed For available upon check-out) or International Tracked. Please note I cannot be held responsible for items getting delayed or lost.
