An original drypoint chine colle print of a dried Dock flower.

Chine-collé is a special printmaking technique in which paper of a different color or texture is adhered to the overall piece.
The paper is actually bonded to the heavier support paper of the print in the printmaking process.

Taken from a pencil study I made a few months ago.

Produced by etching on to a thin perspex sheet working from an original drawing.

Printed on to handmade Somerset printmaking paper using Intaglio sepia ink
and delicate Japanese chine colle paper.

1 edition. Unique piece.

Signed in pencil.

The print is supplied unframed and shipped flat in recycled reinforced envelopes.
