18" Doll_Learn to Sew Pattern: Island Princess Outfit_PDF Tutorial

The Island Princess outfit was the first in what became our Learn to Sew series, begun when my daughter and her young friends, all giggly 7-8 year olds then, were learning to sew. The girls spent a summer making HUGE wardrobes for their dolls and in so doing learned the basics that have served them well these past few years. Today, I'd like to say that at least a couple of them are the way to becoming accomplished seamstresses and not even out of high school yet!

We try to keep our patterns easy to make while still maintaining a realistic look and fit. We show basic construction techniques for DOLL CLOTHES, which can be built on for more advanced projects. Instructions are easy-to-follow in a step-by-step format. We include a complete list of all supplies as well as options, such as laces and other trims. And, as usual, our patterns include those little fashion extras that help to make an outfit complete!
