"Evening light at Ogmore" 30cm x 30cm x 4cm acrylic on canvas
I love the colouring in this piece, a lot of attention to details both in the rendering of it and also in the tones and colouring. It's a section of a lit wave that I was very fortunate to capture at Ogmore, the sun and the wave in the right place to get these colours as the wave lifts up her head before the decent.
No need for a frame with this one as its a deep edge anyway, but still will be lovely with a frame.
ABOUT ME
I am from Wales in the U.K. where I began painting the sea subject in 2003, and before that various works including some mural art, portrait art and general illustrative art works. The sea however remains my main focus which I steadily explore and try to improve my technique and approach as time goes on, from the open sea to the smaller details such as waves near the shoreline.
I am never opposed to work on other creations that are different from this subject, as I also like to produce various types of art, with a belief that one can help the other, and its good to "keep my hand in" anyway and keep in touch with the various disciplines that I have build up over a few decades.
From miniatures to huge canvases and various formats, I am open to everything creating personal works and exhibitions.
I spend most of my time in Macedonia with my wife, getting regular trips back to Wales where my business in based. Depending on where I am and where the item is will depend on where its shipped from ( I paint everywhere!) . Either way it will be shipped out a quick as possible to you.
SHIPPING
The service used will be DHL that have been reliable for me and have continued with a good service.
I offered another option which I called "insurance" as an upgrade which you can add if you choose. There is no guarantee that everything will arrive perfect through the service, but all I can say from my end is that I will pack it as I think is secure for the journey, and DHL have done a number of shipments for me to different places and have been fine including some large and fragile (framed) pieces.
DOCUMENTATION
Paintings sent from Macedonia require in general a "Ministry of Culture document", which sometimes takes 2 days to get it. That's why I gave a little extra time for the sorting out of the painting to be sent, in the case there is a little delay with them sorting it out.
