Dispatch/Shipping

Generally speaking I will try to dispatch orders to you on the same day or the day after the order has been placed and payment has cleared.

Please do be aware that during busy periods e.g. Valentines, Christmas and Mothers day dispatch times may be longer.

If you require a special delivery service, please contact me and I may be able t accommodate you.


U.K orders- shipped using Royal Mails U.K 2nd class service. Expected delivery time after dispatch is 2-3 working days. Most of the items I sell will be covered by either the large letter tariff or small parcel tariff.

Europe - Royal Mails first class tracked and signed. Expected delivery time after dispatch 3-5 working days.

U.S.A and The Rest of the World –International first class tracked and signed service. Expected delivery time after dispatch 5-7 working days.

Please note expected delivery times are all estimates based on information from the postal provider and other factors can interfere with these expectations; for example adverse weather. In the case of International shipping, please do be aware that a hold up at Customs can happen at any time. I always fill out the appropriate Customs form but this does not give immunity from further inspection from Customs and every country will have its own procedures.

You should also be aware that additional charges can be applied by Customs depending on the item and value limits set by each country; these charges are not in any way applied by me or are caused by a lack of shipping payment on my part. Therefore these charges are to be collected by the buyer. It is probably wise to check within your own country what charges may apply before making a purchase.

What is Gold Fill ?

It is a relatively thick layer of solid gold mechanically bonded to a base metal. It must constitute a least 5% of the total weight of the item. This means that it is 100's of times thicker than regular gold plating, which is estimated to be 0.05% and at least twice as much gold than electroplating. It is the next best thing to solid gold. It is said that the gold on gold fill items can last between 5 to 30 years, much more than plating can offer, plating does not have any measurable amount of gold.

Gold fill therefore is a reasonably priced, quality alternative to gold.

I will apply current shipping costs as per provider and any further charges applied are to cover packaging costs. There will be no added shipping costs if you purchase an additional item.

Items will be sent out in poly bubble mailers with anti tarnish tissue paper OR where appropriate a rigid box and tissue paper and a waterproof and tear-proof jacket.

Where an item has been shipped correctly but the item goes missing in transit then I will seek recourse from the carrier. This is a very rare occurrence.
Please be aware that the process takes some time to resolve especially with overseas orders. I buy shipping that has the relevant compensation for all orders. Royal Mail have to undertake their own investigations into undelivered items and it does take time. To satisfy both me as a seller and you as a buyer, I will compensate you as and when Royal Mail have reached their decision as to what has happened.
