Based on the cult film Labyrinth by Jim Henson, starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.

This painting depicts Toby crying! For any parents out there, you know that stage you get to when the baby is crying so much that you end up crying too?That!! ⁠

⁠I love how Sarah's shirt collar in this scene echoes some of Jareth's own collars in later scenes. ⁠
I've embellished the gold bits of Sarah's waistcoat in a light touch of gold watercolour paint. ⁠

The painting measures approximately 6" x 4" Supplied in a black cardboard sleeve to protect and display the painting.

This painting has been made using Higgins black magic ink on watercolour paper as part of the Inktober artists challenge that takes place daily during the month of October every year.
