Gingerbread Men Earrings – A Gingerbread Man is not just for Christmas you know! These fun Gingerbread Fellows are ready to wear whatever the season! In my opinion there’s not much friendlier looking than a Gingerbread Man, and you can carry some of that sweet gingerbread cheer around with you all year with these fun little earrings.

My mini men are made from polymer clay. I don’t use moulds or cutters to create them- they are each individually cut out by hand using a template of my own design, I sculpt in the features and texture and dust each with a little soft pastel for that lovely baked effect, and the tiniest hint of a pink blush to their cheeks. A little bit of Fimo gloss varnish is added to give the eyes and buttons a little more character. These little guys are properly handmade- you won’t find an exact copy anywhere else- even if you buy two from me!

Each Gingerbread man is attached to a bail, which is baked in place, and then connected to silver plated, nickel free ear wires. Each little man measures approximately 30mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of his feet. This little pair will arrive gift wrapped in a branded Konditorei Komisch pink recycled card box, all ready to give to a friend as a fun gift, or to treat yourself with!

If you like to accessorise, you can find a fun Gingerbread Man button ring for sale here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/113927203/gingerbread-man-covered-button-ring?ref=shop_home_active

Please be aware that, for hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable.

Please remember to also check my shop policies, for all of the sensible stuff you’ll need to know before making a purchase- including timescales, postage details and returns.

Please note- due to the new Royal Mail postage system, it can be difficult to work out the added cost of postage should you order more than one item. In some cases the postage cost to you is less if the items are posted separately, rather than sent as a combined parcel. The amount stated on the listing is the maximum you will pay, and I will refund any overcharged postage costs to you if applicable. If you are concerned about postage costs please contact me if you are interested in buying more than one item, and I can advise a more accurate postage cost based on the items you intend to order.

All items sold in my shop are subject to UK legislation, by making a purchase you are agreeing to those terms.

This seller usually responds within 24 hours.

There are long lead times on needle felted and cake topper orders for a number of reasons:

-I like to set realistic timescales, so that I don't disappoint my customers.

-I will often be working on a number of orders at any one time, so won't usually be able to get started on making yours immediately.

-Whilst I would love to be able to make things all day every day, that just isn't the reality of my life! I work a 'normal' job part-time to pay my mortgage and support my family, and I obviously like to spend time with my husband and daughter too!

-I also add a little 'contingency' time, as life with a young child can be unpredictable!
If you are ordering for a Birthday or special occasion please contact me before ordering to see if I can get it done in time.

If there is still a reasonable amount of time to produce the order I can sometimes manage to get it to you a little faster, but this will depend entirely on whatever else is going on in my life and where you need the order shipped to. Whilst I like to try to be as helpful as I can, I can't work miracles and it's sometimes better to be realistic about these things!
I am open to accepting payment for an expedited service, but you will need to contact me before ordering to see if this is possible.

If I can get your order made in time without having to rearrange my schedule then I will not need to charge you extra to get your order to you in time, we can agree a new dispatch date and you can order as normal.

If I need to set aside time specifically to get your order made in time then this will be arranged as a custom order with an additional charge added for the express service. The additional charge will usually be 50% of the item cost eg. a £40 order will be £60 if express.

If there is no way I can get your order made in time- with or without the express service charge, I will advise of this.
Yes- if you place an order worth £20 or above, and you know it won't arrive in time, I can provide a free email copy of a personalised letter in my own branding, which you can print out and give to them on the day instead. Just let me know you would like this service and provide relevant details.

An example letter:

To *Name*

This is just a little message to let you know that *Name* hasn't forgotten to get you a gift.

But an EXTRA SPECIAL person like you deserves an EXTRA SPECIAL gift!

So you will be receiving a lovely gift, handmade with love and care just for you; designed and created in the United Kingdom.

A little late but worth the wait! In the meantime wishing you a
*Very Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday etc*
I price my work based on a number of factors including material costs and overheads (energy costs, insurance costs- all those fun things that many buyers forget to consider!) and most importantly my time, which is actually incredibly precious to me as it's in very short supply! The pieces I make are often extremely labour intensive, and if I offered them for any less I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living in the UK. Whilst I do appreciate my customers a whole lot, I don't think I love you quite enough to not be able to afford my bills and mortgage, so I won't be offering discounts. Besides- if you're not willing to pay a fair price for it, then do you honestly love it as much as you say you do?
