Beautiful fabric. The GSM listed says 144. I found the fabric to be greater GSM than that. More of a mid-weight fall/winter fabric than the lightweight fabric I was hoping for. I have other hemp and linen fabrics of the same GSM that are wonderful summer weight and that is what I wanted. I will still use this gorgeous fabric to make a yummy fall jacket and pants

Hello Rebecca, We tried making a 3-ply variety for comfort and durability, but I understand how it would not be suitable for this season!
