MXVXM ("mix five channel matrix")

Expandable 26hp 5x5 Matrix mixer for eurorack, built and fully tested.

DC coupled with a switchable scaled/attenuverted output and simultaneous inverted out for each channel.

I designed this after making myself a 4x4 matrix mixer, and instantly wanted MORE! It's made for use, packing in as much as possible whilst retaining knob spacing that gives you enough room to precisely manipulate your patch.

I often use it for feedback, having the additional inverted output is fantastic for creating a lot of different options for your patch to move through, and switching from unipolar to bipolar is a great way to instantly change things up whilst you explore.

Used in unipolar, the standard and inverted outputs can also be used to create pseudo-stereo effects (though be careful if you're mixing them down to mono without further processing as they may otherwise cancel each other out).

All pots are linear, and outputs are DC coupled, making this equally useful for mixing audio or control voltages. Panel is aluminium, shipped with black Davies clone knobs as standard - testing has determined these offer the best balance between wigglability and style within the available space.

Two (or more) units can be linked together to expand the number of outputs. When multiple units are chained, the secondary unit's inputs will break the normalisation, allowing great flexibility in mixing or routing. Single channel output expansions are also planned.
