The Common Carder Bee is one of three types of all-ginger bumblebees here in the UK. Found in a wide range of habitats, the common carder bee is the earliest carder bee to emerge in spring. They're often found in gardens, farmland, woodland, hedgerows and heaths, wherever flowers grow. They're social bees and nest in cavities, abandoned birds' nests and mossy lawns. They are often the latest-flying bumblebees from summer nests and up to 200 workers can be found. The common carder bee is one of many 'long-tongued bumblebees' which can feed on tubular flowers. Often seen flying from March to November.

I use only recyclable and biodegradable materials for posting, even down to my packing tape! All of my art cards are sent in glassine paper sleeves which are 100% recyclable. I am currently transitioning from recyclable cellophane plastic sleeves to plant-based biodegradable ones so depending on the stock I have, you could receive either.
