Vintage sizing does not equate to modern sizing. Please read the item description for sizing details. All measurements are taken with the garment flat so your best bet is to have your measurements taken for comparison.

For vintage items: unless the tag specifies the care instructions, it is up to you to take care of your garment properly. I have a decent knowledge of textiles, so unless the tag specifies, the fibre content listed in the description may only my best guess so I cannot definitively say how to care for it. A lot of items in my shop are dry-clean-only so please consider that before making your purchase.

Vintage clothing often has a distinct smell to it. Keep in mind that these items have been pre-worn and in some cases well-loved by their original owners and I do not pre-clean anything that has a dry-clean only label or anything where I am unsure of the fibre content prior to selling. In a case where I notice that an item smells like cigarette smoke, body odor, or perfume I will note it in the description, but if you have any sensitivities to scents then vintage clothing may not be for you.

Sorry, no they are not. A lot of factors are considered when pricing vintage items such as condition, age, demand, label, etc and are priced fairly and competitively.

Please read the item description. I carefully inspect each item for any damage, stains, or offensive odors. Damage that requires a repair that I can do myself will be taken care of (missing buttons, popped seams, etc.) as I am trained to do this.

All flaws, stains, smells, repairs, etc. will be noted in the item description.In cases where the label says dry clean only, where fibre content is unknown, or if laundering will compromise the garment, it will not be pre-cleaned for you. In other cases it will be washed with a hyper-allergenic detergent and hung to dry and this will be noted in the description. Garments are ironed/steamed prior to photography and folded for shipping so they may need a wash, press, or steam prior to wearing.

You are buying vintage. In most cases it has been worn and loved by someone for many years so standard signs of wear and age such as fading or blemishes will be there. They may not be noted in the item description because they were either unnoticeable or noted to not have any effect on the wearability of the item. All noticeable flaws will be noted in the description so please read through carefully.

Sorry, I absolutely will not. Once you own the garment and it is in your hands you may do whatever you like with it, but I will not risk damaging an item for any reason.

Clothes are stored in a smoke-free environment. I have two cats, Frost and Hetty and neither of them are allowed near the clothes. However, it is important to note that since these are second-hand items, the original owners may have smoked and/or had pets near the clothes. If you are concerned about this affecting any allergies or sensitivities you may have, please consider this prior to purchase.
