Trying to find original men’s sewing patterns from the 1940s is difficult at the best of times, trying to find them in the smallest size is another matter completely. I am a size small in men’s clothing, I make a lot of the clothes I wear because the 1940s is my favourite period of fashion. So when I find patterns in my size I jump on them as they seem to usually go fast. I had made this jacket years ago but bought the wrong size and so have very rarely worn it (which is a shame as I bought some lovely herringbone wool to make it from) Now I have he correct size, I can’t wait to make it. I asked the seller if they would reserve the pattern for me and they very kindly did. The seller was very quick to dispatch the pattern and it arrived on time and safely packaged. I will definitely be back to buy more, thank you so much.
