1939 vintage children's print by Inez Topham entitled " A Stitch In Time Saves Nine". The print / book plate shows a young blonde haired girl sitting in a grey armchair hand sewing her doll's dress. Beside her on the chair sit a golliwog and two dolls while at her feet is her sewing basket. The print was retrieved from the book Merrythought Tales published by Thomas Nelson & Sons Ltd.

The print measures approx. 7.75 x 10 inches ( 19.5 x 22.5 cm.) edge to edge and is in good vintage condition. There are a couple of small marks on the print itself as well as some grubby marks in the white margin but nevertheless the print would look gorgeous framed and hanging in a child's bedroom or playroom.

All my prints are original ( not scans) and will be shipped in a poly sleeve inside a board backed envelope for security.
