This is a gorgeous little fur evening cape from the 1930's or 1940's.

A simple, yet stunning, boxy shape it has a neat little collar which lays flat against your shoulders and is lined with fabric on the underside. There is a single hook fastening at the bust and it is fully lined with cream satin.
I'm not sure what the fur is but I believe it to be rabbit.

The perfect accessory for an evening dance or would be ideal for a winter wedding.

Measurements

It is a petite fitting piece which is suitable for a 34" bust maximum.

Back of neck to hem 16.5"

Fullness at hem 52"

Shoulders are a petite fit and will best fit a 15" shoulder

Condition

Good vintage with some minor points to note;

- there are some light marks on the piece, I have tried to get them in the photographs so please be sure to look at the photos carefully to make sure that you are happy with the condition of the piece

- wear to the clasp

- the lining is grubby in places

I love this skirt! It's so whimsical and in perfect condition, which is astonishing, considering its age. However, the listing stated that it's linen, but it definitely feels more like a (lightweight) wool. That actually makes me like it even more, as it can be worn in the colder months, as well.
