'Sex Without Fear' is a charming, little book that was available by prescription only! Published in 1951 and given to women by their doctors, it came wrapped in plain, brown paper. Measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", 121 pages

Written by doctors S. A. Lewin and John Gilmore; forward by Sarah K. Greenberg, M.D.

This version is a very early, second printing. It covers all the subjects a newlywed needs to know...the art of intercourse, desire and frigidity, pregnancy, menopause, aphrodisiacs, contraception (a tampon soaked in lemon juice or douching after sex...be sure to never use mercury or Lysol in your douche!), venereal diseases.

Fun stuff! Would make a fantastic gift!
Has original brown paper wrap, very nice condition. There is a spot of what appears to be ink on the first few pages...it is barely noticeable. No stains or odors. Great photos!
