1970s Kurt Geiger White Caged Pumps

Early 1970s white pumps with a caged vamp and laces. They have a 2.5 inch slightly flared heel, a squared toe and a very thin tongue under the lacing. The laces are leather as are the soles, upper and lining. Made in Italy of course. A very clever design with the caged top and collar set inside a plain pump.

Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern and contemporary sizes, depending where and when they were made and design details such as the shape of the toe and height of the heel.
There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent and list the length and width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits you.

They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles and uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible and there is a decent amount of heel tip left.
If they have been re-heeled and soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed.
I try to date them honestly. I won't tell you they're 30s if they're 50s, etc etc.
