Description

30 DAYS (Time is Now)

This gold-foiled soft-cover anthology contains 30 illustrated poems about nature, science and cosmology, and includes end notes to help you understand the scientific basis of each poem.

This ‘quantum poetry’ reflects my abiding love of nature, and my deep awe of the mysteries of space and time. I wrote and illustrated these poems simultaneously, using my vast collection of scanned vintage paper ephemera and illustrations, and old typewriter fonts, which I digitally manipulated and messed about with to create montage backdrops for the poems.

’30 Days’ was listed as one of the best science books of 2014 by Brainpickings.org – sharing a list Edward O. Wilson. Individual poems from the book have featured in exhibitions and events at The Exploratorium in San Francisco, and the ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, Germany. In May 2018, the poem ‘Holometabolism’ was published as part of Tumblehome Learning Inc’s ‘Seven Stories about the Moon and 100 Other Science Poems’. '30 Days' has sold in 28 countries worldwide.

A new anthology is on the way.

“The shortest route to the real answer is via the Imaginary”

Should you have a favourite poem, I would be happy to create a special order for a Giclée print - please contact me to discuss.
