This bottle opener is based on a standard 4 inch digging/ pointing trowel. It features a hardened, tempered carbon steel blade with a polished wooden handle.

While this is primarily a novelty item, something for the tool kit at the end of the day, it is possible to use the tool as a digging trowel so long as the bottle opener is on the opposite side of the blade to that which you use when digging.

Whether you want to use this item as a tool or just a bottle opener, your hand preference must be specified. Your digging hand is most important (as frankly the bottle opener can be used with the same hand by flipping the trowel).

You can also have a short message inscribed on the trowel, please select that option before checkout.

In the drop down selections you can make your choices clear:

- Your hand preference(s)

- Whether this is to be a usable digging trowel or only a bottle opener.

- Whether you want your trowel to have an engraved message.

- The message you wish to be engraved (If you want one) in the 'Note to Seller' section on checkout. Please bear in the mind the length of the message needs to reasonably fit on the back of a trowel!

Note RE: POSTAGE: Following complications with the postage of trowels Internationally, please be aware that I have set International postage price so as to be able to send every item 'tracked and signed for' and ensure that there are no delays in my clients receiving their trowels!

Note: This listing is for the trowel bottle opener only. soup tins, beer and field kit not included ;p

Also Note: Trowels may vary slightly from those pictured. This is a hand made and bespoke-sourced item.

Following an order your trowel(s) will take a few days to be produced and will be posted as soon as they are made.

Looks amazing! We bought this for a colleague's wedding and it was a big hit. The seller was just outstanding throughout the process. He helped me perfect the inscription and drew some lovely entwined rings on the other side. He kept me updated throughout production, sending pictures as he was working on it and giving me an accurate time estimate. Trying to find excuses to buy this for as many archaeologists as I can!

Thanks so much for my bottle opener trowel, it works well and the engraving is beautiful.
