I challenged myself to make a crochet kaleidoscope and this is the result.
The Kaleidoscope Crochet Blanket was designed especially for a Blanket Club in 2014. I designed the pattern so it could be broken up into sections and published monthly, so that members of the club received the pattern in instalments.
This is the full pattern it is divided up into sections with paint by numbers charts as even though the crochet motifs are relatively easy, the colour arrangement is very complex, so working the pattern in sections will make it easier to follow.
You will need:
1750 gms of 4 ply/Sock Yarn measuring 360 metres/393yards per 100g skein
Recommended yarns are listed in the pattern and include Fyberspates Vivacious 4 ply, Drops Alpaca, Cascade 220 fingering, Madeline Tosh Merino Light etc etc
Kaleidoscope measures approx. 57 x 60 inches.
