This adapter allows a vintage Commodore or Atari style joystick with a 9 way D connector to be connected to a modern computer as a USB joystick. This is an ideal companion to my vintage computer USB keyboards.

Three options are available, firstly a single USB joystick adapter and USB cable. The second option is a pair of USB joystick adapters and USB cables. The third option is a single USB joystick adapter with a refurbished vintage Joystick, such as a Zipstick, Competition Pro or Quickshot II. I have limited quantities of these in various types, please ask to see if I have the model you are looking for.

Note: these are setup to use the standard pinout used by Atari and Commodore and others. Some joysticks designed Amstrad and Spectrum +2 etc. have different pinouts. Many have two connectors (one standard, one not) or a switch to changes connections, but I can configure for these non-standard joysticks upon request - please click the 'create custom order' button. Likewise the Atari 7800 uses a different mechanism for the dual buttons on the joypad, I have alternate firmware suitable for the 7800 joypad.
