The tie bar is solid Sterling Silver (925) and oxidised to leave the lettering darker, with a lightly brushed finish. Either or both of the front & back of the tie bar may be personalised giving you more space for more text!

The tie bar can be personalised with your choice of text which could be names, dates, GPS coordinates, short quote etc. Choose whether to personalise just either the front OR back, or BOTH the front & the back of the tie bar.

The tie clip measures 1/4 inches in width and comes in 3 lengths to fit modern tie sizes:
• 2.5 inch length suitable for Traditional ties
• 2 inch length suitable for Modern regular ties
• 1.5 inch length suitable for Skinny ties

The Sterling silver (925) tie bar you purchased has an oxidised or "antiqued" finish (as detailed in the description and shown in the 10 listing photos for the listing you purchased). It is deliberate and takes me considerable effort to get that finish. It's a unique brushed/oxidised finish which many customers specifically purchase this specific style for.
