A custom oil painting of a loved one makes a great gift! To order your artwork click on the 'Request a custom order' above (or if viewing on mobile, click on 'Ask a question' above) and briefly outline the size of the portrait you would like, the number of subjects, the date you need the painting by and attach a photograph.
Prices vary dependent upon whether you would like a head and shoulders painting or full length; the number of subjects; and the complexity of the background and/or detail. However, indicative prices for a single subject (head and shoulders) are as follows:
- 16x12 - £150.00
- 20x16 - £200.00
- 24x18 - £250.00
Once I have received your order and we have agreed the details (including completion and delivery dates), please purchase the 'commission deposit' or click on the link https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/465053433/commission-deposit?ref=shop_home_active_1. If you have a coupon code, remember to include it at checkout to receive your discount.
You will receive some images of the finished painting so that you can check you are happy with it. The painting will be allowed to dry and will be varnished (if required), framed and dispatched. Shortly before the dispatch date, I will set up a listing for your artwork so that you can pay the balance.
If you would like an unvarnished painting, this can be dispatched to you around 1 week after completion. If you would prefer a varnished painting, I recommend you place your order around 5-6 weeks ahead of the date you require the portrait to allow enough drying time before varnishing. All paintings are produced using artist grade oil paint on board. The painting will be signed and is provided in a handmade wooden frame, ready to hang.

After lots of discussion about what was possible, Jill merged the images from two photos, one black and white and one coloured, into this wonderful and unique portrait which will become a family heirloom. The detail is incredible, the light and shade authentic, the likenesses remarkable. It's framed beautifully in dark charcoal wood; Jill offered three different colour choices until we found the one that created the perfect finishing touch. Thank you, Jill, for your amazing talent, and your patience.

This couldn’t be more different from the nautical rope painting I bought from Jill, but it is equally stunning. Rich deep-red roses painted in exquisite detail. The placement of the roses and background is inspired. I wanted a showstopper, and I got one! Jill’s customer service and the protective packaging was beyond perfect.
