These are the waste noils left over from top that I had processed at Zeilinger's mill in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Wool noil is the by-product of the wool process to produce top. When wool fibers are washed and combed to create combed top, all of the shorter bits of wool and vegetation are removed. These shorter bits are called wool noil.

I am listing it to be used as stuffing, needle felting, wet felting, or batt making, but couldn't resist spinning up a little. It must be a little easier to spin than dryer fluff, but it did spin and made an interesting lumpy/bumpy yarn.

It's been washed and is full of noils and some VM (vegetable matter).
