Description

As part of Double Elephant's project Redefining Print we have produced an exclusive box set of limited edition prints.

The smart, black presentation box contains 15 specially commissioned prints, artists statements and a specially commissioned poem by the Bard of Exeter.

For the two year long Redefining Print project Double Elephant Print Workshop commissioned five contemporary visual artists normally working within the fields of digital, time based media and performance to develop hybrid responses to printmaking.
To accompany the prints created by the commissioned artists Katy Connor, Bryony Gillard, Mark Leahy, Volkhardt Müller and Clare Thornton; ten experienced members of Double Elephant were also asked to create artwork for the project. Virginia Bridge, Morth, Richard Hodgson, Ali Savic, Lynn Bailey, Catherine Cartwright, Claire Harper, Jess Davies, Chowwai Cheung, Cathy King.

The results are presented here as The Exeter Portfolio!
The Exeter Portfolio is a highly collectible set of art works reflecting the very best of contemporary printmaking.

Size A3 box set
Box - 44.5cm x 33.5cm x 1.5cm / 17 ¾” x 13 ½“ x ½”

The individual prints are created using woodcut, lino cut, photo etching, collagraph, drypoint, screenprint, etching and laser cut. They are all produced in editions limited to just 45. Only 30 box sets are available for purchase.

All prints sold in Double Elephant's Etsy shop are original prints NOT reproductions.

All artwork will be packaged and posted with great care.
Please note that the workshop is not staffed every day, but we will get back to you to answer any questions as soon as possible - eg within a couple of days.

I love this print! I couldn't be happier with it. The experience of buying this was perfect--the shipping, the packaging, and of course, the excellent quality of the art. Thank you!
