With its heart-shaped face and nocturnal existence this distinctive and much-loved bird has been woven into myths and legends throughout human history.
Allied to the goddesses of several cultures, the owl is a symbol of magic and darkness, prophecy and wisdom. The fact that the majority of owl species mate for life has seen this bird mentioned in many love sonnets and poems.
This silver owl heart pendant has been given a part polished, part satin, antiqued finish. It measures a little under 2cm or three quarter inches across its face. It weighs around 5g and has eyes made from 4mm natural garnet cabochons. It is supplied on a cotton cord in its own gift box.
Wearing a piece of Argent Aqua’s fine jewellery identifies you as someone who loves nature, the ocean or the great outdoors. All of my silver jewellery is made from solid Sterling Silver (silver with a purity of at least 92.5%). It does not contain any lead or other harmful materials.
