GET STARTED
1. Extract all three files from the ZIP into one folder.
2. Open START_HERE.html or NeatUtility_Moving_House_And_Home_Planner.html in a current desktop/laptop browser.
3. In Settings & backups, enter your planner name, move date, old/new home details, currency and budget.
4. Add starter rooms and the editable move checklist. Dates start blank: choose your own deadlines and local requirements.
5. Add packing boxes and inventory items, then keep important costs, contacts and moving-day details together.
6. When ready, select Settle into your home. This changes the workspace focus and keeps every record accessible.

A current desktop/laptop browser is recommended. Local HTML opening, browser storage and downloads vary on phones and tablets. Try the public demo on your intended device before buying. This is an interactive HTML app, not a mobile-store app, PDF, spreadsheet or cloud subscription. Real-device compatibility is not comprehensively verified.

Overview: countdown, next steps, packing progress, essentials and budget; Home stage shows inventory and care dates.
Move checklist: editable before-move, moving-day, settling-in and home-life tasks, dates, priority, responsible person and optional project links.
Packing & rooms: unique box codes, destination rooms, status, fragile and first-open flags, contents notes, linked item counts and printable labels.
Home inventory: quantities, keep/sell/donate/recycle/dispose decisions, unit values, brand/model, serial details, condition, purchase and warranty dates.
Moving budget: estimates, actual amounts, paid status, target dates and forecast totals.
Quotes: providers, services, prices, validity and included/excluded notes; explicitly add a quote to the moving budget once.
Contacts: providers, utilities, property contacts, phone/email, references and websites.
Address changes: organisations, target/request/confirmation dates and your own progress records.
Moving day: timed or untimed appointments, handover notes, contacts and old/new-home meter readings.
Essential kits: moving-day, first-night and first-week items, quantities and bag/location notes.
Home care: your own due dates and month-repeat intervals; completed-work history with optional costs and notes.
Home projects: room, budget, recorded spend, manual percentage progress, target dates and linked task steps.
Documents & warranties: references to receipts, manuals, quotes, leases and other records; inventory warranty dates.
Settings & backups: plan details, JSON backup/restore, CSV export, fictional example, blank reset and source guidance.

KEEP YOUR WORK SAFE
The app saves records in this browser's local storage when available. It does not write data back into the HTML file. A downloaded ZIP or HTML copy does not include your later records.
Download a JSON backup regularly and before changing browser/device, moving or renaming the file, clearing browser data, using a different browser profile or reinstalling anything. Keep backups private. Restore JSON after opening on another device; restore replaces the current plan after confirmation.
Use normal browsing rather than private/incognito mode. Some browsers restrict local-file storage. If the app says Not saved, download a JSON backup before closing.
Corrupt saved data is preserved until you explicitly restore or start again. Download any current in-memory work before replacing it. Maximum JSON restore file size: 200 MB. Only this product's v1 JSON backups are accepted.
CSV is a readable export, not a restore file. Print this section prints the current view. Print label produces the selected box label with linked item names and quantities; labels do not include item values or home addresses.
Calendar export contains appointments with a time, including completed records; untimed steps are excluded. Times are local and floating. Check imported times, especially when changing timezone. No calendar connection, automatic sync or background reminders.

CALCULATION DETAILS
Moving forecast: actual amount when entered, otherwise estimated amount. Blank means unknown; zero is a real amount. Paid requires an actual amount. Unpriced records are identified and excluded.
Quoted amounts are not included automatically. Add to budget creates one estimated cost; it does not book the service or mark it paid. Later quote edits do not update the copied cost automatically.
Home projects and completed-work costs are separate from moving totals. Avoid double-entering costs. Refunds/credits and currency conversion are not supported; record suitable notes and adjust your own cost records.
Choose USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, INR, JPY, ZAR or SGD. Currency changes relabel existing amounts without conversion.
Inventory totals use estimated value per item multiplied by quantity, for Keep records only. Blank values remain unknown. Values are your estimates, not replacement costs or an insurance valuation.
Completing a home-care task adds a history record and advances its next date by the interval you entered, clamped to the end of the month. Repeat 0 clears the next date so you can schedule manually. Editing/removing a history entry does not change the schedule. No universal maintenance intervals are supplied.
Deleting a room, box, inventory item, contact, project or maintenance task clears affected links and keeps the other records. Back up before removing records.

DOCUMENTS AND PRIVACY
Document and meter-photo locations are references only: no files, receipts or photos are attached or embedded. Keep source files separately. Web links open external sites and require internet.
No account, analytics, server storage, subscription, planner-provided encryption or automatic device sync. Protect your device and private backups. Avoid passwords, payment-card details, entry/access codes or other secrets.
The app does not change account addresses, contact providers, book movers, calculate utility usage/bills, assess insurance, give legal deadlines or provide professional home-safety instructions. Check local requirements and applicable manufacturer/professional instructions.

100 rooms; 2,000 tasks; 1,000 boxes; 5,000 inventory records; 1,000 costs; 500 quotes; 500 contacts; 500 address updates; 2,000 readings; 1,000 appointments; 500 essentials; 1,000 maintenance tasks; 10,000 history entries; 500 projects; 1,000 document references.

The full edition starts blank. Load fictional example in Settings to explore; this replaces the current plan after confirmation. Start blank also replaces all records. Save a backup first.

KEEP YOUR RECORDS SAFE
Records stay in one browser profile on one device. They are not encrypted or automatically synced. Download JSON backups regularly, especially before updating, moving or renaming the app, changing browsers or clearing browser storage. Keep the original download and your last working backup. Restore replaces the current plan after confirmation. CSV exports cannot restore the app.

UPDATING AN EARLIER EDITION
The original application filename, storage identities, calculation engine and backup format are preserved. Back up before replacing the app file. Keep its folder and filename unchanged where possible; use the same browser profile. If needed, restore a JSON backup belonging to this product. Keep the earlier file until your saved records have been checked.

COMPATIBILITY
This is a self-contained HTML application. Extract the entire ZIP, then open START_HERE.html or the application in an up-to-date desktop browser. No spreadsheet software, account or subscription is required. Desktop/laptop recommended; opening downloaded HTML on phones and tablets depends on local device/browser file support. Mobile local-file opening and physical printing have not been independently certified for this release. The core works offline; external links and the demo need internet. No automatic cloud sync or background reminders.
