Clock Detective: The Case of the Missing Birthday Cake is a printable telling-time mystery for kids ages 6 to 8. Six cute animal friends each say where they were when the cake vanished. Your detectives read the clock on every evidence card (a shop receipt, a photo with a clock tower, a library stamp, a stopped kitchen clock), write each time in digital, put them all on a timeline and find the one alibi that doesn't fit the clocks. Then they follow the culprit's note to the real cake or treat you hid. Nobody is in trouble: the "thief" had a very kind reason.

It practices reading analog clocks, writing digital times and comparing times, in a game kids actually want to finish. Play it in about 30 to 45 minutes, at home, in a homeschool lesson or at a birthday party.
