This listing is a pdf download of the chart and pattern instructions to hand knit Sydney, this cute, smiling cat cushion cover. He is sure to bring a smile to your face as the design emerges from your needles. He would look "Just Purrfect" sitting on a chair or sofa but would be equally happy adorning a comfy bed.

The instructions are given for a cushion cover which if knitted to the stated tensions, fits a 40cm cushion pad when slightly stretched. It is knitted in three shades of DMC Woolly merino wool, a DK weight yarn (light worsted weight), using the double knitting technique for the picture panels. The chart is also suitable for the intarsia technique if preferred, however tension and yarn requirements may differ from the pattern if using this alternative colour work method. The remainder of the cushion is knitted in stocking stitch, rib and garter stitch.

Please note that your yarn requirements may differ from that given in the pattern if you use an alternative yarn so please check the meterage/yardage per ball.

The cushion worked in DMC Woolly, uses four 50g (125m/136yd) balls of A, and two each of B and C.

You will need a pair of 3 1/4mm (US size 3) needles, or alternative to achieve the stated tensions.

Please note that this is a pdf download of a knitting pattern and chart which will be available to you once payment has been confirmed.
