Emotion Cards are for building a shared vocabulary between researchers and participants during new product and service workshops.
From my work in Sensory and Emotional Design, I know people generally find it hard to explain or discuss emotional aspects of their own life experiences or their experience of a new product or service as they do not have a large vocabulary of words to describe emotions.
These cards start with broad ideas of Happy, Anger, Fear, Sad, Surprise and Disgust and then allow users to drill down through related words to identify more specifically the emotions they feel.
Do read the Instruction sheet for some more ideas on how to use them.
Print, cut and glue the cards (and use the instruction sheet as an envelope to hold them) as many times as you like.
If you have any problems, just let me know and I will try to help out.
