PDF e-booklet: Weaving a yarn bowl using weaving sticks and peg looms. Instant download

Description

Learn to weave using wooden weaving sticks or a peg loom. This 14 page e-booklet gives step-by-step instructions on how to weave a yarn bowl and uses lots of colour photographs to illustrate the process.

I have been teaching weaving workshops using peg looms and weaving sticks for several years and I love seeing how much joy students get from using these simple tools to create something that is uniquely their own. Not everyone can get to a workshop though so I also make kits to teach the same techniques - available here in my etsy shop - and I have now also written these NEW longer e-booklets, perfect for anyone who already has a peg loom or weaving sticks.

The e-booklet is available in digital format as a PDF file so you can download it and start weaving straight away! Please note that you will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the file. This is available for free at: https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

In the e-booklet I will show you how to use weaving sticks and peg looms to make a bowl but along the way I share lots of hints and tips in the same way that I do with my workshop students. I also give you ideas on how to make more bowls of different shapes, sizes and uses, and ideas for other projects you can make with your peg loom or weaving sticks.

The photos above show:
1 - the front cover of the e-booklet
2 - the table of contents
3 and 4 - some example photos from the e-booklet
5 - some of the multi-stranded yarn that I use for making yarn bowls. I explain how to make this yarn in the e-booklet and suggest other materials that also work well.

If you have any questions about the e-booklets, please don't hesitate to message me and I'll be glad to try to help.
