Stencil

What are CraftStar stencils made of?
We use 180-micron (7 mil) Mylar for our stencils. This allows intricate patterns to be achieved with crisp detail, and provides the optimum balance of durability and flexibility.

How do I clean my stencil?
Mylar is very robust and can be cleaned with anything from water to solvents. Most paint will provide instructions on what works best. If you have used a spray adhesive and would like to remove it for storage you can use isopropyl alcohol, or a solvent such as acetone / nail varnish remover.

Where can I apply wall stickers?
All of our stickers can be applied on any clean and smooth flat surface including walls, windows, mirrors, doors, tiles, and metal surfaces.

Are the wall stickers removable?
Most of our stickers can easily be removed by simply peeling them off. Please be careful to peel slowly, especially if you are removing stickers that have been on a surface for a long period of time. Adding some heat to the stickers using a hair dryer can help to soften them, and will help to lift them from the wall more easily.
