This is an original Oil Painting on high-grade Belgian linen canvas. The painting measures 16 inches high by 24 inches wide (41 x 61 cms), unframed. Photos show how it may look in a few types of picture frames but it is sold unframed. The subject is a leopard I met and photographed at a species preservation sanctuary a few years back. His magnetism and power fascinated me and this painting was based on a photograph I took just moments before his hidden mate sprang at me from amongst the foliage! Fortunately glass separated us and I beat a hasty retreat with my photos and person intact. Some key features of this painting are:
