'Sometimes we all need a helping hand to hold as we steer our way through the many challenges that daily living can bring us. Poetry can be that helping hand, guiding us to access and explore the deep inner feelings and desires that stir in our hearts and souls.
'Stillness' is a book of poems written to help us connect with the deep stillness that resides at the heart of life and which can help to infuse our lives with a sense of lasting inner clarity and calm.
All poetry is copyright of Jannietta
Following the death of my father I felt compelled to put together a compilation of poems that speak on the theme of stillness. 'Stillness' contains poems from my previous four poetry books and also includes a good number of new, previously unpublished poems.

Loved these poems from Stillness Poetry book by Jannietta even more so than the first poetry book purchased from Jannietta yet adored the first one, too- deeply beautiful! My hubby is not really that much into poetry yet your poems are converting him to poetry- how amazing is that?!! Going to tell all my pen pals about You, too. Have pen pals from all over the world. Hope that will also translate into you getting more sales, too! Your poetry deserves to be read by as many people as possible - profoundly beautiful, so soulful, magically mystical, as well as deeply enchanting! It spoke to me greatly so on my chronic pain journey, too! Also, made me think of my late beautiful Nana. Thank You does not seem adequate- yet thank you from all my heart plus soul for touching me so deeply plus for giving me wings!
This is a beautiful book of heartfelt poetry to lift the spirits and inspire appreciation for all of the abundance that we have in our lives. Highly recommended, gorgeous words, I love it.
Inspirational and at times very moving. My daughter is planning a trip to Australia, which terrifies me, until I read "Safe Harbour". Just reading the first line "How will you know the spirit of the open sea if you never set sail beyond the harbour walls?" allowed me to see she has to follow her dream! Dedicated to John Kirkpatrick, it is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man.
Another wonderful poetry book by Jannietta, her poems are lovely to reflect on
