Description

This listing is a pdf download of a hand embroidery pattern to create "the Comfy Chair", a stitched picture of a cute Weimaraner who likes to chill out on the best chair in the house. The design fits a 10 inch embroidery hoop (or larger) and is worked using basic embroidery stitches so is suitable for all levels of stitcher.

This is a pdf hand embroidery pattern written in English. The file contains 4 pages and consists of a colour photograph of the final design, instructions on transferring the pattern to fabric, a diagrammatic guide to basic embroidery stitches, a full size pattern for printing and tracing, and a stitch guide to help you to complete the design.

You will need suitable fabric (I work on unbleached calico), an embroidery needle, stranded cotton embroidery threads in black, white, mid beige, light beige, purple, yellow, dark brown, mid brown, blue, greens, pinks, browns and salmon (the DMC and Anchor thread colour references I used in my version are given in the instructions), and an embroidery hoop (10 inches is perfect) to keep the work taut while you are stitching. The hoop also provides a great way of framing your embroidered artwork when you are finished.

The pdf download is designed to be printed onto A4 paper and will be available to you once payment has been confirmed.
