This is a beautiful cut and frosted art glass vase, by Peill & Putzler, Germany circa 1970s.

Stunning sculptural form, the cylinder has concave cut away sections, ridged and coming to a point, creating an unusual optical effect. With a frosted texture and clear polished sections in the cuts, catches the light beautifully.

So reminiscent of German glass designs of the 1960s-70s.

Would make a fantastic addition to any Peill & Putzler, German or art glass collection and would complement any retro, vintage, 1960s, 70s, mid century, modernist, minimalist or contemporary interior.
