Don't buy this offer, this is for information about my FREE picture hair color check. The hair extension pictures with models show you examples of the hair pieces you can use this free color check for!

I have a special screen to check your picture on and I can work very precisely (e.g. add first single gray hairs or super fine highlights or a shimmer of a color). I often use 3 of my basic colors and more for a single hair piece to get an exact copy of your hair, but this is doable only when I can see all details of your hair.

Hence my requirements for your picture you will be able to follow even if you are not good with photography or technical stuff ;-). And they secure that you are taking your picture in most neutral light, so a hair piece matched to that picture will change hair color in different light situations the same way your own hair does. This is also why I am so extremely specific about light in my instructions.

There are some examples in the third picture for pictures that don't work, but if you understand all details in the how-to instructions this might be confusing to check ;-).

You can order physical swatches that take about 1-2 weeks to arrive depending on where you live. The picture color check is quicker, doesn't cost anything and mostly easier for my customers, though. This is because some find it hard to imagine what the result looks like, when the hair of 2, 3 or more basic colors is blended.

Sending me a swatch of your own hair is not a good idea. a single strand cannot represent all colors and shades and the amount of each color on your head, so this is actually determined to fail, so I do not offer that. Plus I do not want you to cut off any hair, most of us already do not have that rich hair anymore where a cut strand is not a loss.

WHY IS THERE ONLY 1 FREE COLOR CHECK AND HOW MUCH IS A SECOND ONE?

My color matching help often defines several hours of my work day, it is quite time consuming and a second check with a second picture is not needed in case you provide the correct one right away. You can doublecheck with the guidelines and also with the don'ts in the third picture here. Still, I will ask your permission before I give advice based on an insufficient picture, so you can still go ahead and take a new one and have me check that for free. a second color check for US $ 25 must be booked only if I have given you advice already and you want me to check another picture. It's not a second color check when you change your hair color between two orders, then you can have a free one again for your new order.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT HAIR COLORS IN MY HAIR PIECES

Your hair color can be matched perfectly including highlights, lowlights, first gray or lots of gray hairs and all shades! One's own hair usually contains 2-3 colors, only dark hair (colors 1-6) often consists of 1 color only. Hence I include up to 3 colors in the price for most hair extensions and you can add additional basic colors at little extra costs if needed. The only exception are my extra long hair pieces, 60-100 cm/ 24-39 inches long. Here only two basic colors can be mixed due to technical reasons with this extremely long hair.
In many cases one basic color is close to your hair color, so we would pick it as the basic color for your hair piece as well. Additional colors will make your hair piece look real, because they add shades, nuances, highlights and shimmer of your own hair to the hair piece.
If your own hair is right in between two basic colors, a fine blend of these two colors will be the basic mix for your hair color. We might need to add additional colors for highlights or a shimmer in this case, too.

HOW WE MAKE YOUR COLOR MIX

I have developed my own techniques, because working with synthetic hair differs strongly from having your hair dyed at your local hairdresser's. Your hairdresser blends the liquid color and applies it to your hair. I take bundles of hair in the basic hair colors we need for your hair piece, part them and put them together again until I have the desired mix.
This time-consuming work by hand enables me to make thick streaks up to fine highlights. Or to get a fine blend which actually is a new color and you cannot recognize the single basic colors in this mix any more.
So the technical side differs strongly from hair coloring at the hairdresser's but we get the same result! Just to give you an example: When we blend two fair shades of blonde and a copperish shade, we get a new shade of blonde with a slightly copperish shimmer.

One's own, natural hair usually consists of 2-3 colors, hence we mostly need 2-3 colors from the color charts to match your own hair which is included in the price. Only dark hair (basic color 1-6) is an exeption, here one color often is enough. Magic Tribal Hair takes care of all color aspects of your own hair - this makes our hair pieces look incredibly real!

Natural hair has a predominant color in the upper parts, a slightly darker one in the under parts and mostly a third lighter color in its lengths. Some have lighter tips or highlights, too. Lighter tips can be neglected, because you usually don't see them when wearing a hair piece. Highlights or streaks should be included in the hair piece.

Yes, you can! Please send one high quality picture according to our guidelines below, because we can only give qualified advice with a high quality picture.
We need a picture of your entire hair (any close-ups or details shots of a strand only, any pictures with hats or fascinators, braids, updos, pony- or pigtails!). You must be the only person in this picture, group pictures are not sufficient. You should be seen from the side or the back and until the middle of your back even if your hair is shorter. Different shades can be recognized much better from a little distant perspective. Natural daylight works best, please avoid extreme conditions like bright sun and full shade and don't take the picture against the light!

Yes, we can. You must buy one of our sample offers, because we need a protective charge for our samples. The price you pay for the swatches we will refund on their safe return and your order of a custom hair piece.

We actually prefer the picture color check (see previous question and answer), because for us it is easier to judge which basic colors in which proportions we must mix to get your hair color, since we do this every day :)! If you take a picture according to our guidelines the colors should come out realistic, we get the best matches with this color check method!

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend this color check method for finding a great color match. As you can read further above we are able to reproduce all aspects of your own hair which usually cannot be displayed well or completely in just one strand. Hair pieces matched this way often differ from one's own hair. So we use this method only if you as our customer explicitely want us to, because our custom hair pieces cannot be returned.

No, we can't. We are specialists for custom color hair pieces and have a range of more than 300 different models. We have to set a limit somewhere, because we make all Magic Tribal Hair items to order and would exceed our capacities if we kept on adding different items and would not specialize in anything.
We know that we tagged some of our hair pieces as "wig" in the item title or keywords. This is because many people still use the keyword wig when looking for a hair piece and not for a full wig. They would not find us if we did not use the term wig at all.

No, you can't. We specialize in ready to wear & comfortable falls you cannot take apart for several reasons:
1. Most permanent installation methods harm your own hair. We love hair, so we don't want you to damage your hair or deliver supply for that.
2. Our dreads are special yarn dreads and can be washed in lukewarm water with washing liquid for wool as the yarns are made of a wool- sythetics mixture. They are not made for being washed with shampoo, go swimming with you in salt or chlorine water etc.
3. You should never add organic material like wool permanently to your hair, as this will become a home for bacteria - to say it real straight: It would start decomposing on your head!
But you are welcome to buy a long-lasting fall!
