I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.
This edition illustrates the enchanting 'Ice Dance' theme from Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands by master composer Danny Elfman.
In the magical and heart warming scene depicted, Edward carves an angel ice sculpture and as the shavings fall like snow Kim dances beneath them. It is a truly beautiful scene enhanced by Elfman's tender and wonderful score.
