Stitch this super cute dog embroidery design either as a relaxing treat for yourself or as a Christmas gift for a dog loving friend or family member. This listing is a pdf download of a hand embroidery pattern to create Sas the Snowman. The design is approximately 17cm (7 inches) tall and is designed to fit an 8 inch embroidery hoop for working. The hoop can also provide a great way of displaying your finished piece of Weimaraner Art. This pdf embroidery pattern is worked using basic stitches and a diagram of how to work those used is included in the pattern download.

Please note that this is a pdf hand embroidery pattern written in English. The file contains 4 pages and consists of a colour photograph of the final design, instructions on transferring the pattern to fabric, a diagrammatic guide to the embroidery stitches used, a full size pattern for printing and tracing, and a stitch guide to help you to complete the design.

In order to work the design you will need suitable fabric (my pictures show the design stitched on unbleached calico), an embroidery needle, stranded cotton embroidery threads in black, white, dark mink, purple mink, light pink, beige, salmon beige and light green (I have given suggested DMC thread colour references to match my example in the instructions). You will also need a small amount of lightweight knitting yarn for the hat and scarf. Variegated sock yarn is perfect for this as it gives interesting subtle colour changes. You will also need an embroidery hoop (8 inches or bigger) to keep the work taut while you are stitching.

The pdf download is designed to be printed onto A4 paper and will be available to you once payment has been confirmed.
