The watercolour shows a panoramic view of the coastal town of Puerto de la Cruz in the south of the Spanish island of Tenerife in the Caneries.The painting was painted en plein air from the roof of the Valle Mar hotel where I was staying on a lovely hot February day. The slopes of Mount Teide can be seen and the rocks of the bay, which in rough weather make the town such a wonderful place to stay!
The image is 13 x 18 inches in size. I normally frame these in a 16 x 20 in frame with a white mount which are easily found ready made in a number of outlets.
The watercolour uses top quality non-fade colours on heavyweight rag watercolour paper.
