Description

A pattern for a knitted hat (pdf) featuring a dancing skeleton: ideal halloween headwear or for those with a love of the macabre
From a standard simple pattern, you can personalise your slouch hat with the addition of beads, tassels or pompoms, or turn it into a tuque with a tiny bit of sewing
The pattern includes versions for two different gauges of yarn (4-ply and DK), instructions to make the hat the required size and a chart of the dancing skeleton.
This pattern is suitable for any knitter with some experience of simple colourwork.
NB You are buying the pattern only, not a finished item. To complete the item, you will also need yarn (2 colours), knitting needles, a sewing needle suitable for your yarn, optional beads (I used some in the shape of bones and skulls) and 2 stitch markers.

FAQs

UK postage is based on a combination of weight and volume so it doesn't always appear to make sense. I spend quite a lot of time trying to minimise volume so that items can go as 'large letters' rather than parcels. Rest assured that if the postage and packing fee exceeds what it actually costs me, I will issue a refund. I do generally charge a small amount for the packaging.
