Description

A brand new edition to my notebook range!

These notebooks are made with up-cycled vintage sheet music, these pages range from the 1930s - 1950s, and as such some are slightly faded or marked here and there, I have avoided using any damaged pages, but of course some of them may look a little worn. As you can see from the photos there is a variety of different styles on offer. Some notebooks are even covered with the lovely title pages with beautiful vintage typography!

Each book is hand - bound and brightly coloured linen tape, made with approx 22 pages of unwanted and up-cycled paper, folded and bound to give you 44 sides of blank paper for sketching, writing, anything you want!

I have a range of different colour spines available, select from the drop down menu which you would like to order! Please note that the "dark green" has come out almost black in the photos!

The Stitch City logo is displayed on the inside back page.

Aside from the materials used for binding, this book is made with all up-cycled paper!

FAQs
Q: Can you make me a custom piece?

A: I can! You can convo me on Etsy or email me directly at: contact [!at] stitchcity.co.uk

You can find out more information on my webite here:
http://www.stitchcity.co.uk/?page_id=1592

Please be aware that any custom work undertaken requires payment upfront and will be at a higher cost to similar ready made products. Price will be determined depending on size of the work and estimated time taken to finish. Please be aware that I currently work full time in addition to running Stitch City, and so a long lead time is essential.

For gifts: Please ensure you plan and contact me well in advance of any events, eg. birthdays or Christmas, I work full time in addition to running my shop and can only confirm completion dates on a case by case basis, it depends entirely on how busy I am. Please ask if you have any ideas for pieces you would like made.

Q: What steps have you taken to make your shop more environmentally friendly?

A: I try really hard to operate under a zero-waste policy, which is a challenge! Many of my new ideas for products have sprouted from this need to reduce my waste. All fabric offcuts go into cushion making. Any supplies that can't be recycled will end up in my destash section so please check out my shop for that. I reuse as much packaging as possible from incoming deliveries. I am always on the look out for new suppliers with eco friendly policies eg. recycled papers, organic and fair trade fabrics and biodegradable packaging. And I am always open to suggestions on how to improve this stuff and where to go for materials, so please get in touch.

Q: Where do you sell in person? Are there any fairs where I can see the products first hand?

A: I normally participate in several Christmas markets each season, in November and early December, and almost exclusively in the South Wales area. Please follow Stitch City on your preferred social media to find out where I'll be and when!

This year I will be at:

Ichi Artisan Market - St Catherine's Church hall - 17/11/18
Rhiwbina's Handmade Market - Rhiwbina Memorial Hall - 25/11/2018
Etsy Made Local Cardiff - Tramshed - 02/12/18

GENERAL INFORMATION:
My items are made in a smoke free and pet free environment.
